Design at IQVIA (formerly Quintiles)

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at the IQVIA Solution Design Studio I’ve been exploring design in healthcare and life sciences at a company experiencing rapid growth and change. When I started out at Quintiles in 2015, I spent most of my work focusing on applications that enabled better conduct and management of clinical trials. Most of this software was internally produced for many different job roles within the company.

Becoming IQVIA

Following the merger of Quintiles and IMS Health to form IQVIA, the company has shifted focus to create software products that leverage the robust healthcare expertise and data that IQVIA has to offer.

This led to the creation of the Apollo Design System, a collection of best practices and patterns that unify the user interface and experience of many products from both legacy companies as well as new acquisitions. I have spent the past year leveraging this new design system as part of the design team on IQVIA™ Study Hub, a net-new product in the emerging market for virtual clinical trials.
